Moore struck out four, ending the game with a 3.60 ERA and 0.73 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: Moore missed high in the strike zone early in the game, but he avoided giving up any major damage in his second major league start. He became the third pitcher in Seattle history to throw at least seven innings in the first two starts of his career, joining Erik Hanson and Enrique Romo. Moore would appear to have a spot in Seattle's rotation going forward assuming nothing disastrous happens in his final start before the All-Star break.

Analysis: Moore, a second-round pick in the 2015 draft, certainly didn't look out of place in his introduction to the big leagues. "Heck of a debut," Mariners manager Scott Servais said. "You can't say a whole lot more. What an effort. It's kind of what we've seen out of Andrew Moore since the day he put a Mariners jersey on." The 23-year-old likely earned himself another start, slated to take place Wednesday at home against the lowly Phillies.
