He's sure to surpass 4,000 yards passing for the fifth straight season.

|Nov. 23, 2017 4:37 PM PT5:37 PM MT6:37 PM CT7:37 PM ET0:37 GMT8:37 5:37 PM MST7:37 PM EST6:37 PM CT4:37 UAE (+1)19:37 ETNaN: - Philip Rivers was 27 of 33 for 434 yards and threw three touchdown passes Thursday in the Los Angeles Chargers' 28-6 win over the Dallas Cowboys. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was not sacked.
Analysis: The wily veteran had a field day against a predictable Dallas defense that lacked any semblance of a pass rush, rewarding those owners who recognized the very favorable matchup. Rivers' play has had a lot to do with the Chargers' resurgence, as he's now thrown for 2,188 yards with 16 touchdowns against three interceptions over the last eight games. He's produced two TDs or more in six of those contests.
|Nov. 17, 2017 1:34 PM PT2:34 PM MT3:34 PM CT4:34 PM ET21:34 GMT5:34 2:34 PM MST4:34 PM EST3:34 PM CT1:34 UAE (+1)16:34 ETNaN: - Rivers started Sunday against Buffalo after clearing concussion protocol and was 20 of 32 for 251 yards and threw two touchdown passes Sunday in the Los Angeles Chargers' 54-24 win over the Buffalo Bills. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked one time.
Analysis: Rivers would have had a shot at his first 300-yard effort since Week 4, but he sat the entire fourth quarter with the game completely out of hand. The durable veteran still managed to throw for multiple scores for the fifth time during a seven-game stretch in which he's produced 13 TDs with only three interceptions. He should continue to be a reliable fantasy option, though likely not a high-end one, when the Chargers visit Dallas on Thanksgiving Day.
|Nov. 15, 2017 2:18 PM PT3:18 PM MT4:18 PM CT5:18 PM ET22:18 GMT6:18 3:18 PM MST5:18 PM EST4:18 PM CT2:18 UAE (+1)17:18 ETNaN: - Rivers is practicing with the Los Angeles Chargers, and the team believes he's going to be good enough to go Sunday against Buffalo.

|Nov. 13, 2017 2:56 PM PT3:56 PM MT4:56 PM CT5:56 PM ET22:56 GMT6:56 3:56 PM MST5:56 PM EST4:56 PM CT2:56 UAE (+1)17:56 ETNaN: - Rivers is in the NFL's concussion protocol after reporting symptoms of a possible head injury. He told the Chargers about the symptoms Monday after they returned from a 20-17 overtime loss in Jacksonville, coach Anthony Lynn says.
Analysis: Lynn is still hopeful Rivers can play on Sunday when Los Angeles (3-6) hosts Buffalo. Rivers has started every Chargers game in the regular season and the playoffs since he became their starting quarterback in 2006. His 194 consecutive starts are the fourth-longest streak for a quarterback in NFL history.

It was just his second INT in five games. However, he has only four TD passes over the past three games as the Chargers have failed to top 21 points in any of them.

Analysis: It was the ninth time Rivers threw three interceptions. He led the NFL in pickoffs twice in the past three seasons, including last year when he had a career-high 21. While the picks were bad enough, Rivers completed just 50 percent of his passes and never found any rhythm with his receivers.
|Sep. 17, 2017 4:06 PM PT5:06 PM MT6:06 PM CT7:06 PM ET23:06 GMT7:06 4:06 PM MST6:06 PM EST6:06 PM CT3:06 UAE (+1)19:06 ETNaN: - Philip Rivers was 31 of 39 for 331 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Los Angeles Chargers' 19-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins. The 35-year-old is off to a good start, having amassed 523 passing yards and four touchdowns through the first two weeks.
|Sep. 12, 2017 9:35 PM PT10:35 PM MT11:35 PM CT12:35 AM ET4:35 GMT12:35 9:35 PM MST11:35 PM EST11:35 PM CT8:35 UAE0:35 ETNaN: - Rivers went 22 of 33 for 192 yards with touchdowns and one interception in Monday night's season-opening 24-21 loss at Denver.
Analysis: This game was mostly a struggle for Rivers, who did finally get on track in the fourth quarter with a pair of touchdown passes. Picks continue to be a problem for Rivers. He has thrown 15 in his last seven games and at least one in 12 of 14 contests.
